Pakuranga is a suburb of Manukau. It is located about 14 kilometres from central Manukau, 15 kilometres from central Auckland on a peninsula formed by the Pakuranga Creek and Tamaki River.

Pakuranga means ‘battle of the sunlight’ in Māori. The area has wonderful parks and coastal walks and is a popular location for families of all generations. Pakuranga is regarded as a great, well located residential suburb predominantly with homes dating from the 1950s onward. Many new sections are still being developed throughout the area as the area continues to become more popular in todays property market.

Pakuranga contains a shopping centre, offering day-to-day necessities. The area is also home to Pakuranga Plaza, which has a large range of designer, boutique and mainstream fashion, as well as a food court. It is an easy drive to nearby beaches and the area has excellent schools and transport options.
