Botany/Botany Downs is a suburb of Manukau City. It is located about nine kilometres from central Manukau and about 20 kilometres from central Auckland. Surrounding suburbs include Howick, Somerville, Northpark, Highland Park and Pakuranga.

Botany Downs is the central hub of the broader area and is home to one of New Zealand’s largest shopping malls; the Botany Town Centre. There are a large range of shops and restaurants as well as various other amenities in the area. Botany Downs is also close to a range of local parks for leisure or recreational activities for families. There are excellent schools to choose from and a drive to the beach only takes a few minutes.
